You'd think at one point or another, I'd get used to all of the "I have a book" things, like holding a book that's mine, actually getting money so I can donate to charities, etc... But I don't. So, you can imagine how excited I was when I discovered that finally,
my book is on Amazon!
This is really neat, partially for the "cool!" factor, and partially because my book is more discoverable now. Someone who is searching for information on chronic pain, for example, may come across the book on Amazon. Especially if they specifically search for "chronic pain" on Amazon.
I'll let you in on a secret. The reason books, or anything, for that matter are so expensive is partially because of the retail mark-up. And, if you're buying from a more retail establishment, less money makes its way back to the producer. You can read between the lines of what I'm saying.
Also, right now, there isn't an electronic copy to purchase on Amazon, and the large print version isn't available there either. This is due to the cost of ISBN's. So if you want either of those formats, use the
