Nickie's Nook turns Four

When a good friend gave me an invite code for LiveJournal, I don't think either of us realized how important blogging would become as important as it is to me now. It was just a place to write about my day. If I went back to read my journal entries from then, I would probably have a different view of things.

So much of my life has changed, and I honestly feel like a different person now, which is pretty much expected, going from 16 to 20 years of age. Blogging is more to me now than it started out as being. I honestly just wrote whatever I wanted to then. Now, I try to do purposeful journaling, meaning that it is all personal, but I try to think about one topic, or a few topics to see if I can make sense of them. Other times, it's more of a place for me to share things. And a lot of times, it's a lot of both, or neither.

Blogging has been a good addition to my life. I've made friends through it, and I've learned a lot through it. It's pretty amazing, when you think about what technology allows me to do. And it's amazing how something as "precise" as a computer can enable such raw humanity to express itself.
