A quick note

I'm going to head for bed soon, but wanted to write and say that the appointment at the pain center went well. I now have a change in my medications which I hope will work better. Basically, all of those meds like Lyrica, Lidoderm, Amitriptyline, and Celebrex that don't change based on the day aren't changing. What we added, though was a long acting version of the as-needed Opiod pain-killer to hopefully keep me from being on such a pain-level roller-coaster. And I can still use the as-needed painkiller if I have break-through pain, a fancy of saying if the pain is really bad. We're hoping this will work better.

I am grateful that I have friends who are willing to help with all this. And grateful that I can be frank and say "this is not working", and be honestly listened to.>

YAY Nickie!
I pray for you and Julio every day at vespers. It is great to learn of positive change!

You and I can sit at the platform and allow the roller-coaster make others sick as it rolls up-side-down. We can let the operator know that we don't want to ride and we're just fine.

Calming hugs to you, Nickie and a cyber doggie biscuit for Julio (you can give him a real treat and say it's from me!)

Thanks, I really do need those prayers.
Julio is a very lucky doggie to have a wonderful human like yourself!

What's your breakghrough pain med? I didn't use many of my percocet meds, thank goodness, but at least I'll have them in case I spring a rib or break something. I hate to say this but ... Also, I'm still not out of the woods with mouth pain, but it's much better.

My breakthrough pain med is still Percocet, with the 5 mg of Oxycodon, 325 MG of Tylenol. I'm glad it's getter better, and hope it goes away completely as quickly as possible!

I have to ask about the pic you used on your first reply post. Is that a pic of you with your RSD leg on a skateboard? Cause, you know, odd.
