New gadgets for my contact list

Google Local
can now be searched by voice.

first alerted me to this through his blog, BTW. I think this is very cool.

You dial 1-800-4664411 and you can search by business name or category. I searched for coffee, for example. And it worked, so it automatically gets a thumbs up./

Calling 411 is a good way to rack up weird charges on a cell phone bill, so it's good to have a free alternative. I know there was Free 411, but you couldn't search for a category of business. And, if you hate making phone calls, it's nice to know that you won't be faced with an opperator.
