but it's extremely sad that it's happening to women who need life-saving treatments.
I'm extremely fortunate to be able to trust that my current doctors are giving me the care I need to deal with the RSD and recovery from surgery, but I haven't always felt that way. And, as this article points out, there is room for social work to help with this. I feel like my options are increasing every day for my career.
I hope these barriers can be resolved. If anything needs to be accessible to all, health care is one of those things.
