Mushy puppy post

This post will probably make at least half of you gag with the mush and overly sweet writing. I don't have a lot of time, though, so I'll probably keep it relatively short. I just have to say that I love my puppy and my friends.

I'm incredibly dizzy and am having difficulty hearing people when I'm around noise, which means I'm probably in need of a decongestant. Julio is so sweet, though, I don't mind.

I marvel at all of the transitions this puppy has gone through and handled with grace and humor. Today, we played and had fun. We went to lunch with several good friends. When we got back, I just happened to accidently let my puppy Julio out of the room. And we just happened to have people start running, and I can't help it if we had a good time doing it. (If you're not catching it, it's not so much of an accident). So ten minuts of Julio running up and down the hall with my friends ensued.

Julio is not very good at drinking water when he should, but he sure did today (good boy!!!). Then I showed my friends how Julio sits in the Lazy-Boy with me. I'm sure this is not a skill his raisers taught him, because he is a very good puppy and I had to really coax him to do it. But it's nice when the pain is bad (which it isn't), to not have to worry about getting up off the floor.

I just love my puppy! And, by the way, my dear friend and "big sister" (it may not be biological, but it feels like it), is doing a show in honor of guide dogs. It's on at 9 eastern tonight on
ACB Radio
Go to the mainstream channel. It's sure to be good!
