Dear Unamed College I don't attend,
It would be nice if you would actually take the time to find out about your students before we finish the high school program you sponsored. I didn't like your surveys then, and I like them even less now.
First, you forget that surveys rarely actually give me a chance to tell you what I really think. If life or school could be quantified on a strongly agree-strongly disagree scale, it would be a lot easier for everyone.
Second, if you want my feedback, why not use your student workers to call me and ask me. Better yet, email me. Considering the fact that when I started the class, you collected scads of information on me, and should be able to find it.
Third, please, don't use some third-party survey hosting site. Even a small college can host their surveys on their own web site.
Fourth, if you are going to use a third-party hosting solution, check to see if the html code is correct. I should not see html code in the title.
Fifth, and most important, consider labeling your buttons appropriately!
Yes, folks, this is why I love the college I did attend. The person who created our surveys is always available if I need help. This person, when I explained the problems, has been more than helpful with his willingness to incorporate design/accessibility suggestions. Even better, there's almost always a chance to leave an open-ended comment.
So, what would motivate me to complete your survey? Nothing less than an accessible site.
Most sincerely and frustratedly,
