People who are 25 should not die. It's way too young, and hits way too close to home. I can't believe it happened. I was just wondering if I'd see her as a pannelist at something I'm speaking at next week. I guess I know the answer to that.
We didn't always hang out, but she was a very nice, fun person to hang out with. It's really a shock to hear this. Very sad news... Very sad. I'm definitely praying for others who knew her better than I did.
She was one of the few people who knew about the week when I almost didn't get to go to guide dog school. We played on a beep baseball team together. I'm shocked, but realize that there are many others who are hurting today. The world is better for having known her, and I ask myself why now was her time. I realize, though, that God has a greater purpose.
