Much travelingness

Today I worked with Diane on one of the routes I'll do for the home interview. It's a very crucial route to know because my life could someday depend on it! It's the route from CLC (used to be Central Junior High for you peeps who used to maybe go their) to Kodiak. It's not the easiest route, lots of driveways, but I'll live. Diane took me sighted guide on the way back after warming up at Kodiak, to simulate a Juno walk so I will do better on that part of the interview. I'll have some questions at the meeting tomorrow, which is good. I'm learning a lot about what I should ask so I do well for the interview. I'm hoping that will show that I'm personally committed to getting a Guide Dog. The fact that I've been researching it, brainstorming things to make life easier as a Guide Dog user at school and ways to help Baxter adjust should really show something I hope.
I'm loving having today off! It's very relaxing! And tonight with Helena is gonna rock!!
And doing the bus trip without an O&M instructor will hopefully build my confidence.
I still need to get a physical even though I had one in June, it probably won't hurt to have one so Dr. Zimmerman can fill out the form and have me their if we need to discuss anything. I'll get the TB test then too I'm assuming.
Thank you so much for all of the support I've gotten from people about getting a Guide Dog! I'm so excited!! I have to start believing I can do it. I don't want to be cocky about it, but I don't wanna degrade myself either. They probably don't like to see someone who does that.
Well, I'm gonna go do some stuff. If anyone wants to chat, you know my identifying messenger characteristics.
See y'all later!
