Awww... Nickie's Nook turns three.

Yay for having May 9th as a birthday. The day this got started is burned into my brain as the day I took the AP History exam. Nothing like having your teacher remind you every day that you're getting ready for May 9th to get you to remember that day. It's definitely been fun to keep writing and explore thoughts, impressions and situations in different lights.

I'm going to need this blog more than ever as I get ready for and recover from surgery. I was originally oing to try to get someone to podcast how stupid I'll probably sound coming out of anesthesia, but I don't think that's a good idea... Does anyone with a video camera want to try to tape me on crutches and see if we can make some money off of it by selling it as comedy on Ebay? 'Cause yeah, that's gonna be interesting.

Yesterday I was more focused on the "maybe some of this will get better" aspect, but today I'm rather frightened. The idea of general anesthesia is kind of creepy, okay a lot creepy... If they do it through an IV, that's good, through a mask... not so good.

Kay, now that that's out of my system (pun not indended), I just want to say that I'm hoping this next year is less painful.

Hugs!
