Thank you for walking with me today. My pain was down enough for me to go to Brewberry's again and you gladly followed my commands. I know we struggled to find inside and I got frustrated. Thank you for refocussing and figuring it out.
You were so good today, I you were pretty quiet. Everyone said you were so well behaved.
Thank you for doing such a good traffic check. I don't know why I struggle with that intersection, except that it's different from what it usually is; people aren't out as much on Sundays. You did such a good job crossing back over toward school, I couldn't have asked for much better.
We didn't stop to sniff the lilacs, but I hope you caught them on the breeze like I did. It was wonderful.
I know I could walk without you, but I wouldn't want to. You made the walk so much easier. You were so playful later today. Thank you for being you. Even if I have surgery and you can't work, I know you'll still be there for me, you'll probably tickle me just to hear me squeak. It will be hard and I'm not sure if you'll understand why Mommy can't go for walks, but please remember that I love you. Maybe someday I'll get better and we can have more days like today.
Thank you and I love you.
