Coca cola and long talks

Today ended up being a really good day which helped me relax. It's a really bad time right now for me, and I should have been in bed resting because I am always dizzy, and a general mess as far as emotions go, but I think today's sacrifice of rest may well have been worth it!
Today I went to church, which, for those who don't know me very well, is normal. Sunday school was very interesting. A friend of mine brought in a copy of an instant message conversation which had been emailed to her. It was two Catholics talking, and they were discussing various things.
It led us to discuss some interesting things:
  1. Are those who aren't Catholic going to Hell?

  2. Are you going to hell if you don't go to mass everyday?

  3. Are protistants wrong and going to hell?

  4. Is conversion important?

  5. Is Methodist church a cult?

  6. Do we need to go through a priest to get to God

  7. Should everyone be a priest

For those who aren't aware, I go to a Methodist church. Before I summarize the comments from our class, I'm going to leave this entry open for comments. I'm interested in people's oppinions, and I want to let people feel free to responde to this entry without knowing completely where I stand. I think it could be an interesting discussion, I know the one in our class was. I really liked it!
We had church, and today was All Saint's Day. The sermon talked about celebrating our gifts, and using them sacrificially, running the race, the scripture was Hebrews 12:1-2 and Philippians 4:8. I'll put them in here if anyone cares:
Hebrews 12

1 Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Philippians 4

8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.
These are from the World English Bible.
Anyway, then my friend Dee and I went to Big Apple Baggle. I love going there with her. We had some great discussion!
Then we went to the Charge Conference with several churches in our area. It was really cool, and I have some things I'd like to put in my journal, but need assistance to get it into accessible format before I comment.
Then we came home and I had mom help me fill out the forms that let GDB request info from my doctors and such. I'm so hopeful, I really want to go there so bad! I'm trying not to get excited, but it's not working. And if I don't get it, I'll be so upset. I know it'll be crushing.
I still have a lot of education to do with people from school, church and such. I'm going to work on that, but Pastor Jack says he'll be glad to help at church.
I'm also considering writing up a helpful tips thing for people who want to describe videos and such to me. Any comments?
Okay, this is my journal entry for now!

Hugs!

Nickie
