I signed up for a feed burner feed for podcasting last summer when I started all getting more serious about blogging. I've also been raving about
Delicious
I wanted a way to post daily summaries to my LJ, but haven't had the technical knowhow to do it. I'm not sure it's possible, because everything I've found on
Google
and
Google Blog Search
is that people want to do it but don't know how to do it.

Well, I actually logged into my feedburner account today, and if you're subscribed to the feedburner RSS feed in an aggrigator, you should get my daily post summaries. I recommend subscribing to
http://feeds.feedburner.com/nickiesnook
instead of the LJ feeds. The link appears in the link list as the "subscribe to the podcasts I publish sometimes" link.

I still wish I could post it directly to my LJ, but until I figure that out (and I have better things to do with my time right now), this will have to do. I also figure this is better for people who have limited entries available on friends pages.

Anyway, this is exciting.

And if you really want to see my
delicious stuff
and you're reading this on a friends page, just visit the above link once in a while.

Hugs!
Nickie

I've been meaning to ask you, where do you host the actual content of your Podcast?
I'm planning to start one, but haven't figured out where to host the files.

I use
http://libsyn.com

It does cost, but it's pretty reliable and the cost seems reasonable. I think other people use
http://www.ourmedia.org
too.

I didn't understand any of that, but then again I'm not subscribed to any of your RSS feeds. You're talking about posting summaries to your LJ and Delicious all in one entry. Maybe I'll get some sleep and re-visit this post when I can think more clearly.

Delicious allows you to post a daily summary of links to your blog, but for some reason it doesn't work with LJ. Basically, feedburner is the rss feed provider for my podcast. I just told it my delicious username and now everyday at midnight, it splices my delicious links for the day into the feed. So it doesn't show up on LJ, but it does for the feedburner feed.

So if I understand this correctly, you only have one Feedburner feed:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/nickesnook

which not only delivers your podcasts, but now includes a daily summary of the links you post to Delicious in the same feed.

This is too much.
