Blogging The Accessible Way

This is one of the easier sessions to tell you about because the content is already up on the web. They talked about
How To Make Your Blog Accessible to Blind Readers.

Tried to answer the question
Is blogging accessible to people with vision loss?

There is also some info up on the
American Foundation for the Blind
web site.

Some of the guidelines are very good. Others are a matter of preference. For me, I don't mind some navigation on the left side of the page, as long as there is a way to skip through it, or it is marked up with headings so I can get to the heart of the blog easier. That's just one example. Anyway, the presentation was done well, especially when you consider how there were like five false fire alarms within the hour.
