Don't you just hate that?

I remember reading in Taking Hold which is written by Sally Hobart Alexander, that when she lost her sight, she still dreamed that she could see. She'd wake up and for the first minute or so, she still thought she could see. I don't have the book in front of me, so I can't quote it. But since I was born blind, I could only imagine what that would be like.

With RSD, I've found that the pain comes into my dreams in the form of troublesome sleep or frightening dream experiences. Today, for example, I was being chased. Interestingly, though, the pain doesn't always get a part in my dreams. I remember waking up from my nap wondering why my foot hurt for the first few seconds. Then, my head cleared and I knew. I just thought I should get this down on virtual paper before the memory evades me.
