Thoughts 'n jots

One cool thing someone told me is that if you anagram "dormitory" you get "dirty room". That, my friends, is awesome! I'm debating whether to get a t-shirt that says "RSD sucks". It's very true, and might give me a chance to explain it better.

I'm getting excited for Spring Break (although it's still more than a month away). Things are coming together for it. I think it will be a learning opportunity. In case I haven't said it explicitly, I'm going to
I hope there's internet connectivity/WiFi. Actually, there must be internet there simply because I've seen blog posts/audio from there and it's been posted during the conference. If I can get connected there, I plan to blog and use my
feed. It will be a good opportunity to see what I'm able to do physically and hopefully help me define my career path better. Once the mPower comes back, I'm going to start creating questions/criteria to evaluate myself and what I see to try to help myself make these decisions. I will have a support system in place so that if I find that I am physically unable to handle this, I should be able to adapt and move on. I also hear that I *wil* have access to coffee, so that will help a lot. I've got to keep medicine head at bay.
I feel like there is more I should write about, but I can't remember what it was. Oh, I ate a full breakfast today, it even had fruit in it. Don't laugh. Oh, and the other thing: I've decided that my RSD and a museum are very similar. People can find curiosities in both, but the number one rule is don't touch!

Finally, a word to the wise. Rocking chairs can be deadly.

Man, I'd love to do CSUN one of these years, but it's never quite been in the budget. Just curious, is your school helping to fund this trip? Just curious, no need to answer if you don't want to. Only if you have a line on some funds to defray expenses to that shindig, I might be interested.

I'm going to take a pass on your first question, but I wanted to make sure you know about their scholarships. If you go to the CSUN site, they link to the info for scholarships under the heading of "participants". They've closed that already for this year though. Just something to keep in mind.

Oh man I want to go to CSUN!!!!! Some year I'm going to get there, but I guess for now I will have to enjoy it through others. I sure hope you'll be able to post from there! I know it's early, but have fun!

If there's a way to do updates, I will. In a last resort, maybe I can phone post.

They have free wifi in the meeting rooms, the ones in the hotel rooms cost like $10 a day. Come to my presentation, or you'll pay :P. I need at least one person to come to it, haha. It's Friday at 9:30, I think.

I'll definitely try to make it.
