More on the Louis Braille Google logo

I was curious to see what people were saying, if anything, about the
Google
logo I mentioned earlier today. The first blog commenting I found was
Scobleizer who says it's cool.
I found
Matt Bailey's Accessibility Outlook hoping that Google will make the verification process more accessible
(Me too!)
View From the Potting Shed used the post to explain the benefits of alt tagging.
Speculation about Google hinting at accessibility initiatives
I still think it's cool that Google did this. Maybe it will raise awareness. But I sincerely hope that they take Braille to heart. I hope they do something about the fact that I can't register for services on my own. I hope they make their products more accessible. I hope this isn't just lip service.
I'll be watching what happens with this.
Hugs!
Nickie

Google braille and accessibility
Maybe we should all write and thank them for acknowledging us and use this as a point to request significant changes in their service.

Re: Google braille and accessibility
That's definitely not a bad idea!
