Microsoft takes down Chinese blogger?

It's interesting to me that stuff like this goes on. I guess eventually we had to start asking the questions about how well rights are protected and what happens if, say, I blog from a country where my rights are protected and the company hosting my blog is in a country where rights should be protected. Stuff like this is really scary. I've heard about stuff like this happening before, and it's just really sad that in the year 2006, free speech isn't something everyone can take for granted. This has provoked quite a bit of thought for me.
