Shameless shopping

After I wrote the entry where I was crying, I went over and met up with a friend. I basically knocked on her door and asked if she wanted to go to lunch. She said she was about to come find me. So instead, we ended up going to a place called Jimmy Johns. Their sandwiches are simpler than other places, but they are excellent. They also appear to be cheeper than my beloved Quiznos.
We went to half price books and Petena but didn't buy anything. Then we took light rail over to the two-floor Target. I got a sweater with pockets that zip, gloves, soft socks, some relaxing smelling body wash and some bath fizz. The most expensive stuff was the stuff I actually needed, so that was good.
We went to Starbucks and had hot chocolate and vanilla cremes.
Then we headed back to light rail and ran into some random cool people from Flake. I'd tried to see if one of said random cool people was working and she wasn't. I got to see two people which rocked because it wasn't expected. And I got to show off my new stuff.
We got back here and had burgers in the caf and now I'm in my room.
I feel better mainly because I distracted myself. The whole shopping thing may have helped. I don't doubt that God had something to do with it too. I'm not saying he condones me going out and shopping all of the time, but I do think He can put thoughts into my and a friend's head to both come to finc each other.
Now, I'm going to go take a bath. It will either help or hurt my pain level which is pretty high.
Oh, one last thing: Today was seriously the day of pedestrian issues. Lots of kids and random people who do not know how to keep their hands to themselves. If I hear "What a beautiful dog/puppy/doggy/awww!" again, I may scream.
