Cut cuddle and be Cute

More stuff and stuff...

Okay, well on Sunday it was hot. Our Air Conditioner didn't work for a while, but when Dad got home from work he fixed it. I got to have Blimpies for lunch, that was good. We watched Cool Runnings which is an awesome, but pretty stupid movie.
Yesterday Mom stayed home because I had PT at 2. She got her computer set up mostly, and I'm proud of her for that. I used Kurzweil to read some of my books in brf format, and played some computer games.
Then we went to PT, at the pool, and Mom learned what to do. We've made an appointment with ourselves to work on Thursday. Sheila suggested I get a pair of tennis shoes so that I get more sensory feed back when I walk. That will help keep the nerves from becoming more damaged. She reccomended "New Balance" which is a brand that Podiatrists like. She was right! It isn't going to cure my foot, but the shoes I got are awesome!

They're walking shoes, that are white. They've got N's on the sides of the shoe, actually it's one on each side. The N is navy with teal outlines. It's kind of velvetty feeling which I like. I'll just pretend it stands for Nickie. They have little reflecting N's on them (the shoes do). And the back has reflecting squares. It's very cool, but not gaudy. The major plus is that they're comfortable, man are they comfortable!
Well, that's all for now, I don't really have anymore to say!

still pain!

Well, I spoke too soon thinking that these shoes were the greatest, well, they are, but they aren't really going to help my foot. I went to the mall with my mom to find out what the latest styles were, and after maybe an hour of shopping I'm hurting. Although the shoes are a great improvement on the orthodics, the sore left foot is still sore, and probably always will be. Although I still have the appointment with the Pain Clinic, I have no illutions that they'll be able to help me. Hopefully they are at least sympathetic. I swear, if one doctor was as sympathetic and caring as my friends, and that includes all of you, we'd have this figured out in no time.
I did get some clothes for back to school which is good. It's cool, and we did get some cookies, mainly because I couldn't walk and stand anymore. But I don't know how I'm going to make it through the fair. Maybe I should stay home, I don't know what to do. My brain says stay home, my foot says stay home, but my heart wants to go. I really don't know what to do!

On a happier front, my Grandma is doing better. She didn't have to go to the hospital! I'm very happy about that!
