Notes of relaxation

Hey, it's me: Julio!

Boy, was today interesting. We went to that class where Mom lays on the floor in the dark again. first, she did this thing, I think it's progressive muscle relaxation, where she tightened and relaxed muscles. That was okay, at least she didn't try it with her left foot this time. She was more awake when she was done with that.

The next exercise was tricky. You're supposed to go to the beach in your imagination. Mom didn't like imagining the sand between her toes, she said that hurts. I helped out by smacking her with my paws, and laying down and conking her on the head with my harness. It was fun!

They do some interesting stretches in there. Mom doesn't understand them. I don't either, it just looks like all those people need to play with me! Mom won't let me go play though.

Mom says the relaxation exercises helped with pain-related nausea at least, and that she felt good energy wise.Well, I gotta go. I just thought it'd be fun to write hear again, since Mom says her brain is fried.
Love and licks,
Julio

Dear Julio,

Please don't expect humans to make sense. A lot of the time, we don't. Playing with you might have been even more useful to those humans than the silly exercises they were doing, so we just have to hope that they have their own dogs to play with.

Thank you for loving people, especially your Mom, even when we're a little silly.
