More accessibility stuff

You mean to tell me there's actually
an article that doesn't mention disability in a condescending tone?

Universal design is something I hope catches on more. There are so many little things that would really make a difference. I keep thinking of that week or so I spent at home alone while I was still recovering from surgery. Universal design would've made that so much easier. This article is a good intro to the concept.

disabilities
i'm working on a series of presentations right now, together with a friend of mine, whose label is "learning disabled". one of the things we'll do is reverse this "LD" label to "DL" - different learner.

richard nelson bolles, the author of "what colour is your parachute" said that we're all both able and "disabled" in so many ways. he's right, in my opinion.

thanks for letting me rant!

Re: disabilities
Excellent points. It is my hope that these concepts will catch on even more as time goes by and they are discussed. I like the twist you're taking with those presentations! And you can rant any time with insights like these (smile).
