The April Fool's Post That Wasn't

I decided not to do an April fool's day post because I know people who absolutely hate the day and I also didn't want someone to take it too seriously. I never know who will readc this, and the last thing I need is for someone to read the following and think it's true. So, here's what I never wrote:

I've said time and time again that I'm never getting married. It's one of the reasons I chose a women's college so I could avoid the temptation. Well, the temptation found me.

Last night I was in an online chat room and this guy proposed to me. He says he lives in Hawaii and will make me the happiest woman on earth. I asked the others in the room to describe his picture and they said he looks pretty hot, so I'm meeting up with him. I guess he's in town for some hiden convention, so I'm gonna go share the hotel room for a few days before I move with him.

I don't know how good internet access will be, so this is my last post for a while.

Now aren't you glad I restrained myself from that prank?

April Fool's Joke
My first thought? What about poor Julio???? Would he approve of this sudden union of two strangers?

Re: April Fool's Joke
Good question. He probably would as long as the guy petted him.

not believable prank
I never would have fallen for it. A few simple changes would have made this quite believable.

Dear DIary,
One of the reasons I said I was going to go to a woman's college is that I never wanted a boyfriend. A couple weeks ago, I met a guy on-line from Hawaii. I asked him what he looked like, etc. etc. I love him, but I really hate making phone calls to people I don't know. One of the big issues I'm dealing with is that even though I know I can bring a guide dog to hawaii,I am not sure how I will explain to the vets why I am wanting to go. I suppose I could just say I'm going, and need to know what shots and forms I need.
I wonder how I can explain to my parents the reason for my needing to go to the vet? I suppose, since my dad reads this anyway, the secret is out.
My other concern is that Haanima doesn't live on the mainland. The island is described as "scenic," and I am concerned what effect an environment that is rocky and ful of trees would have on my rsd. Julio is a good boy, and I know he could help, but it's a lot to think about.
Both of us are strong in our faith, and I know if I pray, I will find the answers.

Remind me to use your expertise in the future. That was excellent!

Oh my gosh - that would have been terribly hilarious!! What a great idea! I would have posted it, though. :)
